Volatility and change in the business environment are now the norm. Within this context, the expectations of managers from owners, investors, customers, colleagues, and employees are ever more demanding, and frequently contradictory. Managers must grow employee productivity to achieve stretch goals and targets, whilst simultaneously building an engaging workplace culture. They must be visionaries yet make an impact in the here and now. They must be agile but consistent. They are required to be agents of change whilst remaining a source of stability. Leaders at all levels are challenged as never before, and the time pressures involved in responding to these multi-faceted challenges, often leaves little room for personal development and growth.

Rationale for the Masterclass

The Masterclass is inspired by the growing field of Neuroleadership. Neuroleadership combines insights from neuroscience with leadership development. The i4 Model of Leadership Effectiveness provides the foundation for the Masterclass:

  • Integrated Intelligence: This involves developing the ability to integrate information from different sources and perspectives and make sound decisions.

  • Innovative Intelligence: This involves developing the ability to think creatively and come up with new ideas.

  • Inspirational Intelligence: This involves developing the ability to inspire and motivate others.

  • Interpersonal Intelligence: This involves developing the ability to understand and connect with others.

The target audience for the Masterclass is from Heads of Department upwards.

The Six Mindsets of Successful Leaders Masterclass will help you to step back from the day-to-day and reflect upon your own performance in relation to key dimensions that drive individual and organizational success. The Masterclass provides you with an opportunity to consider how you think about important aspects of your role, which in turn drives what you do. The Masterclass explores leadership performance across six mindsets:

During each of these six 1-hour sessions, I will guide you through a process of self-reflection to help you identify areas for improvement that will enable you to further build your capabilities as leaders. Here’s the areas we’ll cover in our time together:

You will be guided through this development journey by me, Enda Larkin. I am an entrepreneur, manager, mentor, and leadership specialist, with extensive experience across multiple sectors. I am author of six management books with renowned publishers such as Routledge, Pearson, and Little Brown, including ‘How to Run a Great Hotel’, ‘Ready to Lead’, ‘The Essential Manager’ and ‘The Impostor Leaders’. I am also a seasoned business mentor and leadership coach and I have helped many individuals and organisations to define and achieve their goals.
